Adult Day programs provide flexible individualized personal care, programming, socialization, and    companionship with supervision. We offer caregivers  information, support, and a day of respite with peace of mind. 

 

Service Description:

 

Our program is a blend of compassionate care, supervision, and socialization for adults over the age of 50 (exceptions may be made) with physical or cognitive conditions that provides a safe environment for the day. 

 

Adult Day Program participants experience meaningful connections, a sense of belonging and an enhanced quality of life.  Participants choose their level of activities, exercise, and social interaction, all of which help maintain physical and emotional health and can support the possibility to remain living in their home and their community.

 

Adult Day services continually evolve in order to meet the ongoing needs and preferences of all participants.

Activities may include:

Individualized personal care, chair exercises, baking, arts and crafts, music, bingo, games, gardening, and outdoor strolls.

Adult Day Program is offered at Ashwood Lodge from 9:00am—3:00pm Monday to Friday.

 

* Referrals can be made by phone at (902) 527-6363.

* We also accept referrals from community agencies, physicians, and family members.

* You will be asked to complete an information package prior to enrollment.

* Participants must meet our admission criteria.
