COVID-19 Measures

 

Visitors are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to enter our facility. Visitors need to complete a self screen in process, and we ask that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms or have a known COVID-19 exposure to please be respectful of others and do not visit the facility.

At this time, 3 visitors per resident are permitted to visit at one time.  If you would like to book a special gathering with more than three people, please call (902) 527-6363 or email ashwoodlodgeassistedliving@gmail.com to book a larger space for a visit involving more than three people. For these gatherings, you may close the door to the room and family and friends that you have invited may remove their masks while behind the closed door.

 

There will be a sign in sheet at both entrances and visitors must sign in upon arrival. This is for safety purposes as we need to know who is in the building in case of an emergency. You must still wear a mask in the facility while in close proximity to other residents. If you are in a private area, resident room or outside, you are no longer required to wear a mask.

Please DO NOT BOOK A VISIT if

• you are feeling unwell in any way

• you have recently travelled or have been in contact with someone that has

• you have visited another long term care, hospital or any medical facility in the last 36 hours

• you have been in contact with someone that is unwell in the last 36 hours

• you have been to a large crowding event in the last 36 hours (sporting event, school event etc)

As always, these measures are in place to protect both the residents and staff of Ashwood Lodge.
